Craft Club

What is Craft Club?

Craft Club is a relaxed, friendly space to bring along your own project, have a chat, and enjoy a bit of creative time with others.

It’s open to all kinds of crafts — knitting, crochet, hand sewing, embroidery, drawing, painting, colouring, cross stitch, diamond painting… anything you enjoy working on. The only restriction is that projects shouldn’t require electrical equipment, as anything plugged in would need to be PAT tested in advance.

Whether you’re partway through something, just getting started, or simply fancy a couple of hours doing something creative, you’re very welcome to come along.

How does it work?

This is a new idea for The Wonky Bobbin, so we’re starting with both a daytime and an evening session to see what works best. The plan is to keep things flexible and shape the club around what people enjoy and want from it.

In time, I may invite local makers or tutors to pop in for demonstrations or informal sessions, but for now it’s all about creating a calm, sociable space to craft together.

Booking & Cost

The sessions are low-cost, just to cover the essentials such as the village hall, insurance, booking fees and occasional shared resources.

You can book your place through BookWhen.

If you’re not sure whether your craft is suitable, or you have any questions at all, please feel free to get in touch — I’m always happy to help.

Where & When?

Craft club will be held in the meeting room at Repton Village Hall. See booking page for up to date dates and times.
